GÖKOTTA

Behind each plate in the House of Ita x Orlando collection are six words in different world languages that capture and express unique concepts of the bond between Humanity and Nature. Starting from Latin, passing through Japanese, Swedish, German and English with reminiscences of Greek, humanity speaks all the languages of the world to SHOUT ITS DREAM OF NATURE!

An old Swedish tradition was to go into the woods at dawn to listen to the song of the cuckoo announcing the arrival of spring on Ascension Day.
In fact, in Swedish, the word Gök means cuckoo and Otta is dawn.

The dimensions of the plates are:
28 cm dinner plate,
25 cm soup plate,
19 cm dessert plate.
