Behind each plate in the House of Ita x Orlando collection are six words in different world languages that capture and express unique concepts of the bond between Humanity and Nature. Starting from Latin, passing through Japanese, Swedish, German and English with reminiscences of Greek, humanity speaks all the languages of the world to SHOUT ITS DREAM OF NATURE!

Mono no aware is a Japanese word that, like many of their words, expresses a complex and profound concept. Literally it means the astonishment and emotion in front of things, summarising that mixture of melancholy and serenity that we experience when we are in front of a spectacle of nature whose incredible beauty and poignant transience we grasp.
