Burning with love, Orlando possessed a spirit that was red-hot but a soul that was burning even hotter when he discovered the news that she loved Medoro and not him. His was not the name that was engraved upon the trunk of a centuries-old oak tree, but another name instead, the name of another man, different and insignificant.

Filled by the furor that destroys uncertainty and hesitation, Orlando immersed himself in every possible adventure, free now without any sense of measure he was the most genial of creators. He discovered that he could never be satisfied. Indeed, the insatiable Orlando learnt that all could be done and much more besides.
