Prendete e Mangiate
Carolina Levi from Spazio Giallo for 5vie Design Week
from April 7 to April 13
Via Cesare Correnti, 14
Prendete & Mangiate is the exhibition curated by Carolina Levi, founder of Spazio Giallo in Rome. This exhibit has been produced by 5VIE Design Week 2025 and takes place in a room of Via Cesare Correnti 14’s apartment, which explores the theme of the table in a different, more poetic and conceptual declination: the table as a meeting place.
The poet Patrizia Cavalli said that when you leave the table, what matters is what remains: the stories, the silences, the emotions that remain. This installation explores the concept of the table as a space for meeting, exchange and listening, where we reflect not only on the visible aspect, but also on what remains hidden.
Each work/piece becomes a vessel for new narratives, inviting us to explore the invisible, to look beyond the surface and perceive what is imperceptible, what cannot be seen but what is felt.
Playing with Tradition
Richard Hutten for Jaipur Rugs
from April 7 to April 13
Jaipur Rugs, Via Marco Minghetti
Dutch designer Richard Hutten has collaborated with Jaipur Rugs to create a collection of nine large-scale carpets, combining the intricacies of the atelier’s heritage craft skills with his own whimsicality. What first appear to be traditional carpets, on closer inspection contain vivid colour inclusions, inspired by the technicolour paint powder frenzy of the Hindu festival of Holi. On another rug, amongst the elegant foliage one expects on such heirloom carpets, Hutten has introduced yellow banana skins – one of the oldest slapstick jokes in the book. Beyond mere gimmickry, the result is cheeky and charming, and utterly beautiful, inviting us to question whether reverence for tradition sometimes eclipses the potential for joy of a more modern, pop-cultural note.

Library of Light is a metaphor for knowledge, a project by Salone in collaboration with Pinacoteca di Brera and with the contribution of Feltrinelli. A journey through science, philosophy and spirituality to bring light back to the center of the narrative. An extraordinary gift to the city. Library of Light finds space in the center of the Cortile d’Onore: it is an extraordinary sculpture, a “beacon of knowledge” with a circular shape, formed by luminous shelves containing over 2000 volumes.
Es Devlin has been reviewed on Orlando Issue VI, we love her vision and approach to space.
